March Artist of the Month - Joan Crice
The Golden Art Gallery is pleased to announce that Joan Crice is our

In addition to exhibiting at the Golden Art Gallery, Joan exhibits at the Klickitat County Fair, State Fair in Puyallup and have taken many ribbons and awards for her works.
Other shows include the Goldendale Library, the Dalles Library, and The Dalles Art Center.
Joan currently teaches classes in scratchboard techniques at the Golden Art Gallery.
Scratchboard begins as a clay-coated art board. The white surface is covered with black India ink. The dried ink is scratched away, using a sharp metal-tipped tool, to produce the image. The addition of color blends the texture and detail of an etching with the realism and beauty of color.
