have the wine line-up for Second Thursday.
Whites:
Syncline Wine Cellars Grüner Veltliner. This grape has been growing in Austria and the Czech Republic for a long time. Only recently has Underwood Vineyard become a producer. This is a must taste for all you dry white wine lovers. It is smooth and friendly without the customary acidic edge of other of your favorite whites. It will be a great companion to lighter summer fare and also works well as an aperitif.
Canyon's Edge Winery Sauvignon Blanc. They call it "New Zealand Style". More fruit, less acidity, some citrus, subdue herbaceousness.
Reds:
Canyon's Edge Winery Sangiovese. A recent release, it is true to varietal character. A bit of acidity balances the rich fruit and long delightful finish.
Canyon's Edge Winery Cabernet Sauvignon. Also a recent release, it is and award winner! The elegance and character of the cabernet; tannins that give structure and promise a long bottle life.
You will enjoy the variety and versatility of this flight. The bottle prices are affordable.
