December 10, Second Thursday - 4-8 PM
Here's the list of wines which will be available at Second Thursday
at the Golden Art Gallery.
Whites
Downtown White from Coyote Canyon Vineyard. A crisp, clean Pinot Gris Blend. Aromas of honeydew, peach, apricot and citrus balanced by a delightfully focused acidity earned this light but elegant blend "Best in class" at the Tri-Cities Wine Festival a few weeks ago.
Confluence from McKinley Springs Winery. Could be the ultimate turkey wine! Light and lively, it will bring out the best in your favorite holiday recipes.
Reds
2004 Sangiovese from Coyote Canyon Vineyard. “A party in your mouth” is what the winemaker calls it! Pairs beautifully with just about any hefty, robust cheese. I think of Stilton or a very well aged Cheddar.
2005 Estate Syrah from Coyote Canyon Vineyard. An old world style wine, with a ripe nose of cherry-raspberry liquor and chocolate leads to a soft pleasing finish. Pair with your favorite braised beef, lamb or smoke-cooked prime rib.
Dessert
Heaven's Reward from McKinley Springs Winery. A 34 Brix late harvest Chenin Blanc. Absolutely delicious.
Jeremiah Chocolate from Canyon's Edge Winery. A port style Syrah with just a touch of exquisite chocolate.
Vintage Port from Maryhill Winery. When the occasion demands, this is the clear choice, authentic, powerful, pleasing.
