The Gallery is part of Community Enrichment for Klickitat County (CEKC, prounounced "SEEK"), a federally-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. CEKC functions as its fiscal agent through which funding through grants, foundations, or other funding opportunities is possible.

The Golden Art Guild founded the Golden Art Gallery as a nonprofit organization to promote area artists and the arts through educational opportunities and art-inspired events as well as to promote the Goldendale community. The mission of the Golden Art Guild is to promote all media, facilitate art communication, encourage art education, and stimulate the community with art exhibits and shows.
