Artist statement:
My primary interest is scenic photography with special emphasis on
the many vistas of the Mid-Columbia area that are best captured in
panoramas. History is also of primary interest; old photographs; and
capturing the present in order to share with future.
The majority of my photographs are shot near The Dalles in areas I am
most familiar. One of my projects has been to photograph area orchards
and vineyards in order to promote local produce.
Photography gives me the opportunity to examine closely and archive our
wonderful and fascinating area to be shared with the world.
