Teresa Baldwin

Kathy Baldwin presents her sister’s photographic genius. Terese Marie is gone now but she was a photographer with great passion and lived life with her heart wide open.  As her photography matured she explored a new world - that of macro photography. There was an explosion of color and forms that echoed Terese Marie’s wide view of life. These photos are reproduced in several ways to fit most everyone’s purse from the very large, gallery wrapped canvas, regular framed pieces and matted prints. Greeting cards are also available for $2.50 each.

Kathy cared for her terminally ill sister to the very end of her life and now represents her in the Golden Art Gallery. You can contact Kathy at kathy@livingwithcancerproducts.com or contact the Gallery at 509-773-5100 for more information.

Terese Marie’s work is being presented as her legacy, continued by her sister Kathy Baldwin. Through reprinting her sister’s prints and launching a website with empowering cancer-related products developed by the duo, Kathy intends to encourage other people to live with the same passion for life Teresa possessed. Please visit www.livingwithcancerproducts.com for more on their sister story, personal photos, and product information.

Terese Marie

Terese Marie discovered her passion for professional photography later in life and spent her last vibrant years discovering nature through a macro lens. It was as if the revelation of the bold sensuality of flowers and fruit gave her permission to embrace those qualities within herself. Quickly welcoming her newfound love, she set to work shooting thousands of images, learned to use a computer and edit her work, built three websites, had gallery showings, and her art enlarged, mounted, canvassed, and framed.

Terese Marie

There is a “knowing” inside us; a quiet voice that urges us on. Teresa’s voice was loud and urgent. She must have known her time here was short. So, like a seedpod that bursts open at the peak of summer to plant for next season’s joy, she cast her visions of the world for us to continue to enjoy. Brain cancer took Teresa Marie Baldwin in March of 2008. She left her love of life for us to appreciate in her magnificent art.

Artist's Statement

I look at life as a spiritual, yet sensual journey...the two
being one. I allow the excitement I feel as I
brush up against an aromatic flower...
the sweet enticing fragrance envelopes my senses.

I become one with Mother Earth as the sand caresses my
toes...the ebb and flow of the tide reminds me of a
familiar rhythm, a rhythm felt when I created life.

I experience a warm tantalizing emotion in my body
when I discover a sensual flower...
moist petals unfolding...nature as it cries
out for an expression of itself.

It is my hope that these images will be the inspiration to
ignite a fire within you. Allowing you to embrace the pleasures
of becoming a passionate, powerful being.
